Our role is also supporting people to self-manage long-term health conditions, such as diabetes and mental health challenges, with multidisciplinary teams delivering community-based programs in a comfortable setting. We also support people, including older people and people with disability, to stay living at home longer and to live well in their community. 

Our broad range of primary health services, care management and in home and community support services can be tailored to an individual’s needs and with major hubs in Box Hill and Eltham, these services can be delivered locally, in the Eastern and North Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Job Description

The opportunity:
We are looking for a Receptionist to join our supportive and professional multidisciplinary teams in a Part time role.

Responsibilities are to actively contribute to the provision of high quality, efficient and effective health services through reception, clerical and administrative support activities including providing outstanding customer service to all people from our diverse community accessing healthAbility services.

Desired Skills and Experience

Our ideal candidate:

  • You must have experience in working in reception and being part of a team of reception staff within a Dental or Medical setting.
  • You will need to enjoy using your multitasking skills whilst holding the most important role of being the welcoming face of this office. 
  • You will be confident liaising with our customers and providing professional, friendly, warm and calm assistance. 
  • The ideal candidate will have the ability to make decisions and multi-task, use highly developed people and relationship skills and excellent organisational skills to meet clearly defined outcomes and deadlines. 
  • You have exceptional attention to detail and good computer skills.
  • Experienced with answering phones, greeting clients, supporting staff with administrative tasks, checking supplies, maintaining the reception area, entering client details into client record management systems, scanning/uploading files into systems.
