The opportunity:
We are seeking a Social Activity Group Coordinator to join our supportive and professional multidisciplinary team in a part-time (0.8 FTE) capacity.
This role operates across Eltham, Box Hill, Donvale, Nunawading, and other community or external venues.
Working closely under the guidance of the Social Activity Group Manager, you will bring programs to life through planning, facilitation, logistics, and participant engagement.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Coordinate, design and deliver Social Activity Groups in line with agreed program models, schedules, budgets and quality frameworks.
- Work with the team to facilitate engaging, inclusive and safe group sessions that promote social connection, wellbeing and participation.
- Ensure groups are adequately staffed and resourced for each session, in line with rostered staffing and budget parameters, at times assisting on the floor with groups.
- Support smooth client participation, including trial attendance, onboarding into groups and transition between activities where required.
Our ideal candidate:
- Certificate IV or higher in Lifestyle and Leisure, Aged Care, Community Services, Allied Health, or equivalent experience in community-based programs
- Experience working within Aged Care, CHSP, Support at Home, or NDIS-funded group programs
- Demonstrated experience coordinating or delivering group‑based community or wellbeing programs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse participant groups
- Ability to facilitate inclusive, person-centred group activities
- Experience with intake, screening and participant support processes
- Strong organisational, administrative and coordination skills
- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
- Valid Working With Children Check
