Our broad range of primary health services, care management and in home and community support services can be tailored to an individual’s needs and with major hubs in Box Hill and Eltham, these services can be delivered locally, in the Eastern and North Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Job Description

 

The Opportunity 


We are looking for an OHS Manager to join our supportive and professional multidisciplinary teams on a part time basis (0.6 FTE). 

In this role you will lead the development and implementation of occupational health and safety strategies, for both physical and psychological health, across our organisation. 

 

As our OHS Manager you will: 

  • Lead OHS strategy across our business, ensuring legislative compliance and a strong safety culture for both physical and psychological safety 

  • Oversee OHS incident investigations, trend analysis, and corrective actions to continuously improve physical and psychological safety 

  • Manage workers' compensation and return-to-work  

  • Develop and maintain OHS policies, training programs, and reporting for executive, Board, and regulatory bodies 

  • Build relationships across the organisation to embed safety practices 

  • Support policy development, reporting, and OHS‑related metrics, ensuring legislative and organisational requirements are met 

Desired Skills and Experience

Skills & Experience 

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in an OHS Advisory role  

  • Demonstrated OHS / Injury Management experience working in diverse and complex operating environments  

  • Experience delivering OHS / Injury Management projects and strategic initiatives 

  • Proven ability to coach and guide People Leaders  

  • Comfort working autonomously while being part of a small, collaborative team 

  • Relevant qualifications in OHS or a related discipline (desirable)
