Our broad range of primary health services, care management and in home and community support services can be tailored to an individual’s needs and with major hubs in Box Hill and Eltham, these services can be delivered locally, in the Eastern and North Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Job Description

The opportunity:

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Oral Health Therapist to join our Dental team at Eltham in a part-time role (0.6 FTE, 3 days per week)

This role provides high-quality, safe and efficient oral health services within scope of practice to eligible patients across clinical and outreach settings. It includes clinical care, preventive programs, education, and community engagement, delivered in alignment with the organisation’s values.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Deliver high-quality oral health care, including examinations, treatment, prevention, and education, across clinic and outreach settings, including Smile Squad and Little Chompers
  • Engaging in collaborative team care and contributing to service improvement initiatives

Desired Skills and Experience

Our ideal candidate:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Oral Health Therapist
  • Bachelor of Oral Health
  • Current Victorian Driver’s Licence and Radiation Licence
  • Strong communication skills with a team‑focused approach
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including electronic clinical record systems

Bonus if you have:

  • Extended adult scope of practice
  • Experience delivering oral health services in outreach settings (e.g. schools or early years programs)
