Our broad range of primary health services, care management and in home and community support services can be tailored to an individual’s needs and with major hubs in Box Hill and Eltham, these services can be delivered locally, in the Eastern and North Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Job Description

The Opportunity
We are looking for an Allied Health Assistant to join our supportive and professional multidisciplinary teams in a part time capacity.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Assist in the delivery of Allied Health services, both individual and group, under the direction of an Allied Health Professional
  • Facilitate the administrative flow of one of our chronic disease management clinics, including processing referrals, scheduling appointments, data entry and facilitating the clinic
  • Support the Occupational Therapy team in the delivery of our Home modifications service; including sourcing quotes, following up installations and home visiting to review modifications.
  • Work in a multidisciplinary team providing support across a range of different disciplines

Desired Skills and Experience

Skills & Experience

  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent
  • 18 – months to 2 years experience working as an Allied Health Assistant or equivalent in hospital or community health setting
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills
  • High level written and verbal communication skills, and experience interacting in both a multidisciplinary team, and with external stakeholders
  • Desirable: experience using TrakCare and My Aged Care
